Malaysian cuisine has been influenced by several cuisines; one among them is the beautiful Javanese cuisine.
The Enak! June meal was hosted at Limone, a delightful cafe in Bukit Damansara which boasts of a menu which has an eclectic mix of dishes.
The owner of the cafe is Indonesian of Indian origin. She has a passion and flair for the cuisine. The menu had been specially prepared for us, on request. This was an invitation to explore the delectable flavours of Indonesian cuisine.

The menu of the day was beautifully curated and served for the occasion. A vegetarian menu was also served to two Enakers. Some of the dishes are also available on their regular menu.
20 Enaker’s attended the lunch. The food and conversation over lunch was vibrant. It was indeed a success from the few comments of those who attended… “it was well organised!”…“ the food was delicious and the service excellent”.
The Satay Lilit was served as it is traditionally, on lemon grass skewers with a flavourful peanut sauce. The Chicken Rendang was flavourful and aromatic, accompanied by the Urap and the Tempe. It was followed by a beautiful chilled Pana cotta.
Those who missed the lunch, this delightful little cafe has a lot to offer. Please do check it out
